Ironically; Maryland, Illinois, and Massachusetts are some of the most corrupt states in the country already and due to their general distaste for civilians having the right to defend themselves, are bordering on tyrannical. And to think some would prefer it if cops were the only ones with guns? Whoa! Keep in mind, every police officer is a human being capable of racism, bigotry, and bias. Now give them a gun and a badge and they can act on that whenever they want to. This is why I have absolute respect for the Police Officers that can handle that kind of power and not let their own opinions get in the way.

^ My thoughts exactly. Not all police officers are like this, people seem to forget that. Yeah, it happens, but it always seems to get labeled on all of them when a few slip up.

No, they aren’t, but even the ones that aren’t utter shit tend to be as apathetic as it gets. If they aren’t scooping your brains up off the pavement they really don’t care.

Also lawl at the black comment. It’s funny, most people that say that either aren’t black or if they are live a comfy life in the suburbs and have never so much as dealt with the police….. and everyone who doesn’t, and still has problems with them, tends to be a little shit that deserves it.
