Ukiyo-E Heroes (Illustrations by Jed Henry)

Digging in the vast deep internet, I have recently found the artwork of this illustrator: Jed Henry, who teamed up with “Woodblock Printmaker” David Bull for the making of these parody illustrations of videogames called: “Ukiyo-E Heroes”.

The classical game characters including: Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Starfox, Street Fighter, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda, etc. Has been taken to the past with a medieval outfit, making a reference to the japanese culture in the past.

This is very awesome!

Rain of Fire documents Israel’s extensive use of white phosphorus munitions during Operation Cast Lead in Gaza from December 27, 2008 to January 18, 2009. Oh hey, white phosphorus. Fun fax about that shit—-it used to be used in U.S smoke grenades. It vaporizes into dense white clouds which would make perfect cover for soldiers—-were it not also toxic as fuck. No joke, soldiers were sickening and dying left and right and no one could figure out why. The white phosphorus grenades were to blame.

And let’s not forget about D.I.M.E Bombs that fill the victims wounds with a fine carcinogenic dust of tungsten particles that cannot be removed with surgery. Israel’s heavily suspected to have used those too.

I’ll just point out that those weapons also have a much smaller blast radius than conventional explosives, that is the whole point of their design. They are meant to be used in dense urban environments to try and limit collateral damage when fighting groups who like to sit amongst crowds of ~~human shields~~ civilians.

Anyone want to bother mentioning Hamas has also been using WP in mortar rounds and rockets aimed at civilian targets ?

Criticizing Israel =/= tolerating Hamas but Israel has been behaving atrociously for an apparent force for good backed by Europe and the US. It’s like criticizing the US for murdering, disappearing, torturing and otherwise abusing citizens then turning around and saying YA! WELL THE TALIBAN DID IT TO!
